Children With Diabetes (CWD) is a prestigious event in Orlando, FL, at Disney World, uniting top clinicians, researchers, families, and individuals affected by diabetes to share the latest in care strategies.
Our objective: Tasked with the tagline “DREAM BIG WITH DEXCOM,” our goal was to infuse a dreamy, cloud-inspired theme into a premier tradeshow experience for the Dexcom young audience.
Concept insight: Through captivating illustrations on vivid imagery, we see these determined youths living beyond the daily challenges of diabetes. Dexcom innovative care liberates them to focus on their aspirations, ensuring they can aim high and Dream Big With Dexcom
As a lead alongside the creative director, we delved into crafting a theme that embodied a dream-like essence, culminating in our final concept: integrating vibrant illustrations with photography. This approach highlighted the resilience of young diabetes patients, showcasing them pursuing their dreams, empowered by Dexcom's innovative solutions to manage their condition.
Leveraging my digital illustration skills, I created engaging doodles depicting children as astronauts, basketball players, rockstars, etc., bringing our vision to life. This collaborative effort, involving creative directors, copywriters, booth vendors, and clients, not only achieved a visually stunning presentation but also earned us a ONE Club for Creativity award in experiential and immersive design.

We created a “DREAM DROP STAR” where attendees could write their dream on the star, take a photo in the 360˚ photo booth, share it on social media, and tag #DreamBigWithDexcom to help inspire others and drive awareness.
